My area of interest: Watching Televison XD
Dear parents,teachers,children,teenagers,aunties,uncles,grandpas and grannies and anyone else who has spent hours binge watching the new Netflix series,
Here is a blog dedicated to all of you, and below I have listed a couple of reasons why I enjoy watching television :) Here they are:

  • Television keeps us updated on the weekly affairs around the globe.(so watch the telly incase you have a general knowledge quiz in class:P)
  • On several occasions it brings the family together. An example of this is  in my household every Sunday afternoon the entire family gathers in our living room and we all watch and enjoy the latest episodes of Modern Family:)
  • Television is also a forum I like to use for entertainment and unwind after a long and tedious day at school of gossiping at lunch and breaking our heads over finding math's beloved "X".
  • Ever watched a particularly horrific incident on  the television and then been  inspired to do something about it? Television also has the power to inspire people.
  • This maybe a little repetitive but television also introduce's us to different cultures all around the world. For Example, after I watched a National Geographic documentary on Tirupati, I have aspired to visit this holy place and learn more about their culture.

Anyhoo this talk of TV really makes me yearn to just spend the remainder of my summer holidays binge watching Sherlock, with a tub of the mouth watering popping corn!! Comment down below if you can relate to this!  Goodbye and hope you have a delightful summer:)

BLOG#6 It's Pink all over again. Shortly after the  release of the powerful film Pink, we were forced to relive the traumatic sequence of events in Chandigarh on the 5th of August 2017 ; where  Varnika Kundu was stalked and nearly abducted by Haryana BJP chief Subhash Barala's son Vikas Barala and his companion that reminded us of the same cause Amitabh Bachchan fought for in the film, women empowerment. At 12:15am when Varnika was heading into sector 7 when she noticed a white SUV trailing her. BLOG#4  Simone Biles Floor routine  From the 2016 Summer Olympic games emerged a gymnastic star: Simone Biles from the United States of America. She won four gold medals and one bronze medal in her first time ever competing in the Olympics at the mere age of 20.Her newfound success quickly covered the headlines of most newspapers due to which I decided to know further about her by reading her autobiography and watching some of her routines. I learnt that she and her sister Adria where brought up by their grandparents as their mother was battling an addiction issue.
